How Slidepost works.

From your app to a finished carousel in five steps, and what every part of the studio does.

Quickstart

You need an account and a link to your app. The first carousel takes a few minutes.

  1. Create an account

Sign up with email or Google. The Free plan gives you 15 credits every month, no card.

  2. Set up your app

Paste your App Store or Google Play link. Slidepost reads the name, icon, store text and screens and writes the first brand kit from it. You can also drop in a brand kit ZIP or a context file.

  3. Pick a layout

In Carousels, choose New carousel and pick a layout from the Library. Hover a tile to preview every slide of it.

  4. Edit the slides

Open any slide to change the text, font, colour or photo, or roll a new line.

  5. Download

Download the slides as JPGs in a ZIP. The caption is inside and copied to your clipboard.

Your brand kit

The kit is what makes slides sound and look like your app. It lives on the Brand page and saves as you type. Each app has its own kit.

Name and icon
Shown on slides that carry your app. Renaming an app keeps all of its carousels.
Colours
Primary fills covers and buttons. Accent colours emphasised words and glows, Secondary tints highlights. Accent and Secondary fall back to Primary when empty.
Product and voice
Who it is for, the core promise, tone and hook style. The AI writes in this voice.
Guardrails
Claims you never make, plus photo rules: what photos are allowed, banned, and the mood you want.
Screens
Your own app screenshots with a label each. Layouts that show a phone use the screen that best fits the story of the carousel.

Every change on the Brand page applies to new slides. Carousels you already made keep their look until you edit them.

Layouts

Each layout is a fixed design. The AI writes copy that fits the frame, it never changes the design.

Tweet threadA thread as slides, with your app as the author.
Hook on photoFull-bleed photo and one hard line. Can carry a small round photo on the cover.
App roundupA roundup of apps in your niche with real app UI. The phone swaps sides on every slide, and the roundup closes on your own app and a store button.
QuotesOne sentence per slide over a mood photo. No logo, no pitch.
This or thatTwo apps side by side with a name and price each.
Object listA quote cover, then pages built around one cut-out object each.
Tier listA C to S ranking with a page per tier.
ReceiptOne long paper receipt across the swipe: what a habit really costs, item by item, a total with a stamp, and a return slip from your app. The table takes your brand colour.
Expectation vs realityOne line that runs through every slide: the plan, the dip, the boring middle, and the week it compounds. The last slide puts your app next to the payoff.
Text threadA dark text thread: a friend asks how you do it, you answer, and your app is shared as a link card. Your side of the thread takes your brand colour.
A day in the lifeOne ordinary day on a colour poster: big clock times, a 24-hour bar, and your app as a small chip on the moments it helps. The colour shifts from morning to night.
TogglesA settings screen of things you switched off or on this year, ending with your app switched on. "On" takes your brand colour.
ExplainerOne topic in plain words: the short version, how it works in three parts, an everyday analogy and what to do, with your app once near the end.
Study breakdownOne piece of research on a grid-paper data sheet: who was studied, what they found, what it can't tell you and how strong the evidence is. Only real studies, check the numbers before you post.

Editing slides

Select a slide to open its editor. The same editor works for every layout.

  • Text and fonts. Edit any line and pick a headline and body font. Library layouts keep their designed typeface until you choose another.
  • Colours. Pick from your brand palette or any hex value.
  • Photos. Swap a photo for another match. Photos come from Unsplash and follow your photo rules.
  • Dice. Rewrite a slide in your voice. Each roll can be undone.
  • Cover circle. On the Hook on photo cover, show or hide the round photo, or draw a new one.
  • App on this slide. On App roundup slides, swap in another app from suggestions or search. The cover grid follows, and undo brings the old one back.
  • Device. On App roundup slides, show the screenshot on an iPhone, an iPad or a Mac. iPad and Mac slides put the app name on top and the device below.
  • Store button. On the closing slide, choose App Store, Google Play or both.

Credits and plans

Credits pay for the AI work. Your balance resets every month.

Free

€0

  • 15 credits a month
  • 1 app
  • Every layout

Pro

€19 a month, or €149 a year. The first 100 members get the founding price of €9 or €69 and keep it for as long as they stay.

  • 90 credits a month
  • Up to 10 apps
  • Every layout

A new AI-written carousel costs 3 credits, a rewrite costs 2. Cancel Pro any time from the account menu, under Manage billing. We charge no VAT: as a small business under § 19 UStG it does not apply.

Download and post

Slides are rendered as 4:5 JPGs at 2000 × 2500 pixels. Download gives you one ZIP with the slides in order and a caption.txt. The caption is also copied to your clipboard, so you can paste it right when you post.

Post from your phone: upload the slides to Instagram in order and paste the caption. Posting directly from Slidepost is not available yet.

Your data

Your brand kit and carousels are stored with your account so the studio can use them. This site sets no cookies. In the studio, product analytics with session replay only start if you accept the question on your first visit, and you can reset that choice on the privacy page.
